I have an issue with the feature boxes the first one is larger than the other three.
You need go to that respective post, then below that page there is excerpt text area. You can write your text there and control the size of your featured item box. The size of box will changes depending on your input text.

I guess you have not updated it. please share us image of backend what you had inserted on that excerpt box.
if you felt difficulty in editing excerpt, you can try premium version, it has lot of easy option, with premium support and free customization facility up to 3 hrs( worth of $45 ).
I have already purchased a premium theme it didn’t work right either, I added email to the top toolbar and your theme kept adding HTTP:// to the front of it like it was a web address. so I went back to the free theme
